GAB binged Netflix while sick, then recovered.
The story tellers on his screen were the only ones to comfort him in bed, and he got the itch to perform again when NO ONE was able to.
Inspiration finally returned after a 5 year draught.
BATCP & Bock Stock weren't even born yet, but in June of 2020, not wanting to sit around and be left behind in the shuffle of the uncertainty that layed ahead, GAB put an ad out on Playbill.com - searching for creatives to start up a company in a time when it was IMPOSSIBLE to do so.
Over 100+ applicants submitted, Bock Stock Virtual was born and died within 6 weeks, but this made way for Bock Stock Live.
July - November 2020
We all have a story, sometimes a slogan too
"2020 Just Got Good" was ours.
We played Washington Square Park, Cafe Reggio, HG Tavern, Restaurant Row during that difficult, crazy Summer of 2020.
We took over Restaurant Row and captured our iconic Street Parade on film, featuring the fearless few that took a chance on Bock Stock and Pandemic 2020 NYC.
To GAB - this was an iconic moment then and even more so NOW.
Bock Stock extended as we got booked to sing for the voters at the voting polls uptown with "Broadway On The Line" Nov. 8th & 9th, 2020
Special thanks to Quinn Lemley, Paul Horton, Century Artists Management, David Eggers, Lauren Molina, Keith Levenson, Beth Sheinis & Restaurant Row.
SUPER SPECIAL THANK-YOU to Jason Paige. Without you, we might not have journeyed on.
February - July 2021/ March - May 2022
GAB had a crazy idea to turn the few cool songs we wrote into a Musical.
We wrote more cool songs, quickly.
The project fell apart then was revived in a short few months, and then, workshops took place at 353 Studios, Central Park and Bock Stock HQ/Rooftop
1st Reading took place for a live audience in a tiny apartment (at Bock Stock HQ) July ???, 2021
Casting Sessions, Documentary filming, and 5 week first preview run took place April 22 - May 21, 2022 at Hourglass Bistro on Restaurant Row

Next Show TBA, Projected Summer 2023 - implementing new ideas and strategies to connect the performer with the audience and create new content for both the performers to be able to use as B-Roll/Highlight Reels and new ways for the audience to interact with the performers, pulling back the curtain, so to speak, about the real life struggles and journey to survival in NYC.
